SECTION 36a-425 APPLICATION

On July 9, 1998, an application was filed by Semperverde Holding Company, a Pennsylvania corporation, to establish an office of its subsidiary, FTM Mortgage Company, a Pennsylvania corporation, at 65 North Park Avenue, Easton, Connecticut.

NEW BANK ACTIVITY

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 36a-70 of the Connecticut General Statutes, on July 7, 1998, an application was filed by the organizers of The Apple Valley Bank & Trust Company for the establishment of a state bank and trust company in Cheshire, Connecticut.
