NAME CHANGE

On February 13, 1998, pursuant to the provisions of Section 36a-82 of the Connecticut General Statutes, approval was given to The New Milford Bank & Trust Company to change its name to NMBT.

ACQUISITION

On February 2, 1998, pursuant to Section 36a-185 of the Connecticut General Statutes, the Banking Commissioner issued a Notice of Intent Not to Disapprove the acquisition by William R. Berkley of 60% of the common stock of The Greenwich Bank & Trust Company, a bank and trust company in organization.

SECTION 36a-425 APPLICATION

On February 13, 1998, an application was filed by Ulster Savings Bank, a New York banking corporation, to establish an office of its subsidiary, Ulster Home Mortgage, Inc., a Connecticut corporation, at 335 Post Road West, Westport, Connecticut.
