For seniors and WIC participants
Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (FMNP)
- The FMNP provides eligible WIC participants and qualifying seniors with coupons to buy local produce at participating farmers' markets.

- The Farm-to-School Program aims to bring CT-grown food and nutrition education into schools.

Animal Population Control Program (APCP)
- The APCP may provide spay/ neuter/ vaccination vouchers for low-income pet owners, or those adopting from a municipal pound.

Animal Control Unit (ACU)
- The ACU is responsible for investigating and making arrests on complaints of animal cruelty.

- By law, all dogs over six months must be licensed and vaccinated against rabies.
