Take your insights to the next level with two powerful data analysis tools: EPM and STARS. These tools are different from standard Core-CT reports. They are designed to help you capture history, identify trends, and improve the overall efficiency of State operations.

  • EPM (Enterprise Performance Management): EPM is Core-CT’s internal data hub. Create queries, explore analytics, and export reports to Excel for deeper review. This reporting option also allows combining HCM and Finanical data together.

  • STARS (State Analytics Reporting System): Use STARS for a high-level visual overview. Find options to integrate data from other sources, and drill down to create dashboards and visual summaries.

Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)

Detailed data and trend analysis

EPM is the internal data hub for Core-CT. It displays tables of Human Capital Management (HCM) and Financials data for the State of CT. With EPM, you can:

  • Build and customize ad-hoc queries
  • Analyze historical data
  • Track performance and trends
  • Export reports to Excel

State Analytical Reporting System (STARS)

Interactive dashboards and visuals

STARS transforms Core-CT data into visual reports and interactive dashboards. With STARS, you can:

  • Integrate data from several different systems
  • View interactive dashboards, drill-downs, and visual analytics
  • Access reports on a mobile device
  • Easily find links between your data and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
