Effective Tuesday, May 12th, 2026, Core-CT vouchers must have a line description entered when creating a voucher online.
This description should accurately portray what that line item is paying for. This is a mandatory field and vouchers without valid line descriptions for every single line will not be saved. Whenever possible, this description should match the item description on your supplier invoice as required by the State Accounting Manual, Expenditures 3.1.3, Acceptable Invoices.
