Exams offered at Charter Oak State College in Connecticut

Charter Oak State College offers College Level Examination Program (CLEP), Defense Activity for Non-traditional Education Support (DANTES) and other examinations in a variety of subject areas.

CLEP and DANTES examinations may be accepted for specific subject area requirements only if test results are posted to an official college transcript and institutional credit is awarded.

If you have been advised that you are lacking a specific requirement and plan to take an exam to meet the requirement, you must submit the name of exam and requirement to be fulfilled for approval prior to registering for the exam.

If you are required to complete or are enrolled in an approved planned program of teacher preparation, you must contact the college in which you are enrolled regarding acceptance of exams to satisfy planned program requirements.
