**DSS Field Offices are now open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
**DSS Field Offices and our telephone Benefits Center are closed on Wednesdays to allow our staff time to process applications, renewals and related work. ** Services provided in the office - If you do not have an appointment for in-person interview, the following services are available at the reception window: pick-up of applications/forms; filling out applications/forms on-site; general information; questions & answers; and picking up of mail, EBT cards & income verifications. An appointment can be made by calling the Benefits Center at 1-855-6-CONNECT (1-855-626-6632) to speak to an Eligibility Services Worker between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. **Dropping off Documents - Documents and forms will not be taken by the Eligibility Services Worker at the window. Outside drop-boxes are available, or use the pre-paid business reply envelope to mail your documents directly to the DSS Scanning Center at PO Box 1320, Manchester, CT 06045. Please allow DSS 10 days to review and process any documents submitted before contacting us. **24/7 access: Customers can access benefit information, apply for benefits, obtain forms and/or open a ‘My Account’ 24/7, at www.connect.ct.gov (online MyAccount); or 1-855-6-CONNECT/1-855-626-6632 (telephone MyAccount). Information about applying for benefits is also at www.ct.gov/dss/apply. Opening an online MyAccount lets you obtain forms, upload documents, apply for and renew benefits and check on your benefit situation. And we now have a mobile app—MyDSS--to help you connect to DSS even faster!
