Connecticut Mental Health Center (CMHC)
The Connecticut Mental Health Center (CMHC) is a cooperative endeavor of DMHAS and the Yale University School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry. The center, located in New Haven, provides an array of mental health and addiction services for individuals in the New Haven area.
Women's and Children's Services
DMHAS funds specialized and comprehensive programs for women and their children.These include residential treatment, outpatient treatment, and specialized care management for women transitioning from a residential setting to community-based recovery services.
Evaluation, Quality Management and Improvement (EQMI) Division
The mission of the Evaluation, Quality Management and Improvement Division (EQMI) is to serve as the primary information and data resource center for DMHAS with regard to services provided and people served.
CT Opioid Settlement Advisory Committee
The CT Opioid Settlement Advisory Committee consists of state and local government experts, health care professionals, individuals and families with lived experiences, and a leader in racial equity in public health. The committee, in consultation with the Attorney General and relevant state agencies and stakeholders, will develop an investment plan and maintain transparency in the use of all opioid settlement funds.
CT has taken significant and important steps over the years to increase capacity to provide accessible, effective, comprehensive, integrated, and evidence-based services for adults with co-occurring disorders (CODs)
