Regional Behavioral Health Action Organizations (RBHAOs)
Regional Behavioral Health Action Organizations help maximize resources and improve integration related to mental health and substance use program planning, training, advocacy and resource development throughout the state.
The mental health waiver program is for individuals with serious mental illness. Each person enrolled in the waiver participates in a Person-Centered Planning process leading to the development of an Individualized Recovery Plan.
The Women's REACH (Recovery, Engagement, Access, Coaching & Healing) program provides statewide integration of 15 Recovery Navigators positioned throughout each of the five DMHAS regions.
Listing of available DMHAS state-funded inpatient beds for mental health and addiction treatment for eligible residents.

Local Mental Health Authorities (LMHAs)
DMHAS operates and/or funds Local Mental Health Authorities (LMHAs) offering a wide range of therapeutic programs and crisis intervention services throughout the state. There are also many private non-profit agencies that you can access through each of the LMHAs.
Women's and Children's Services
DMHAS funds specialized and comprehensive programs for women and their children.These include residential treatment, outpatient treatment, and specialized care management for women transitioning from a residential setting to community-based recovery services.
Naloxone, also known as Narcan, is a prescription medication that reverses opioid overdoses.

The Commissioner Policies and Directives provide agency employees with direction, guidance and support to enable them to fully and effectively execute their duties in a manner that provides the highest quality healthcare services to individuals served by the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS).

LiveLOUD
