Most vaccine providers offer booster shots as well as first and second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. You can receive a booster through your healthcare provider, a vaccine clinic, or participating pharmacies. Talk to your doctor or visit Vaccines.gov to find a nearby pharmacy or vaccine clinic. Everyone 5 years and older should get a booster.
Individuals without access to the internet or who are unable to schedule their appointment online can dial 2-1-1 for assistance (toll free 1-800-203-1234).
Individuals who are medically or physically unable to leave their home to receive a COVID-19 vaccine can register their need for in-home vaccination. Click here to register yourself or someone else for an in-home vaccine.
Can I just walk-in or do I need to book an appointment? Walk-ins and appointments will be available at some pharmacies and clinics, however, it is encouraged to contact providers in advance by calling, visiting their website, or booking an appointment via Vaccines.gov. If you cannot find an available appointment, you can visit a walk-up DPH Van Clinic. No appointment is required.
