• Call Before You Dig

  Residents or contractors must contact Call Before You Dig (CBYD) prior to excavating near any public utilities. CBYD will notify utilities that might be in the area. Utilities will locate their pipes and cables using paint and stakes, so excavators can conduct their work without causing damage or endangering people's safety.

• Gas Pipeline Safety

  Homeowners who smell natural or propane gas inside or outside their homes should contact their utility company immediately. If the smell is strong inside, residents are encouraged to leave their homes and call from outside. If the odor outside is strong or the homeowner hears the sound of escaping gas, move away from the source and then call.
