These sections require the Department of Social Services (DSS) to electronically submit certain new department operational policies to the Secretary of the State for posting online, before adopting them. The submitted policies will be posted on this page as they become available.

The Department of Public Health (DPH) offers a presentation of data and statistics for 25 of the leading diseases and illnesses affecting Connecticut's public. Some conditions covered are asthma, cancer, drug overdose, influenza, tobacco use prevention and control.
Agency: Department of Public HealthA patient is eligible for a medical marijuana certificate if they are a Connecticut resident with a debilitating medical condition. Conditions that qualify as such are cancer, glaucoma, Parkinson's, post-traumatic stress disorder and epilepsy. To meet certificate eligibility requirements, a patient must be 18 years of age or older, must be a Connecticut resident and cannot be an inmate in a Connecticut correctional facility.
