Teacher of the Year Ceremony
Due to inclement weather, the Teacher of the Year Ceremony has been postponed to December 16, 2025 from 5-7pm. Doors will open at 4pm. The Ceremony will take place at the Bushnell Theater in Hartford, and the order of events will remain the same.

The Leadership Team

An effective literacy leadership team that includes a variety of stakeholders is an essential piece of the collaborative system. At the district level, administrators representing different areas of focus join together with the common goal of raising student literacy achievement. At the school-based level, administrators join with faculty representing a variety of roles and perspectives to develop a full understanding of the literacy landscape and to ensure clear and consistent communication. Below is an example of the people who comprise the literacy leadership teams; please note that this list is not limited to these professionals.
