Teacher of the Year Ceremony
Due to inclement weather, the Teacher of the Year Ceremony has been postponed to December 16, 2025 from 5-7pm. Doors will open at 4pm. The Ceremony will take place at the Bushnell Theater in Hartford, and the order of events will remain the same.

Collective Capacity

A second significant contributor to the effectiveness of a collaborative system is the creation of a culture of collective capacity. That is, among the members of the leadership team and across the district, people are united around their understanding of evidence-based literacy instruction and their efforts to realize the goals of the literacy plan. They feel empowered and motivated to continuously work together to examine and reflect upon instructional practice in order to improve student outcomes.
