Where can I get help enrolling in Medicare?
CHOICES helps people eligible for Medicare (and their families) make informed health benefit plan decisions. Read this brochure (PDF) to learn how to contact CHOICES and your local agency on aging.
CHOICES is Connecticut’s State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP). Its staff and volunteer counselors provide free, unbiased counseling on health insurance options, including:
- Traditional Medicare
- Medicare Advantage
- Medicare Part D
- Supplemental Medigap policies
- Medicaid
The counselors don’t sell insurance or recommend one plan over another.
