Malloy will attend a kick-off ceremony and press conference to celebrate the new global corporate headquarters of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, one of the world's biggest hotel operators, which will be moving later this year from White Plains, NY to its new offices in Stamford. During the ceremony, a new street sign will be unveiled, officially renaming the office’s address from 333 Ludlow Street to One StarPoint. The company’s move to Stamford is expected to bring 800 jobs into the state.
