• 10/4/2013 Gov. Malloy: Grant Will Support the Expansion and Revitalization of the Hartford Regional Farmers’ Market

  Governor Dannel P. Malloy and state Department of Agriculture (DOAG) Commissioner Steven K. Reviczky today announced that DOAG has been awarded $375,644 through the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) 2013 Specialty Crop Block Grant Program to support plans to add a kitchen and food processing center at the Hartford Regional Market.

Malloy today announced that the Connecticut Department of Labor’s Office of Workforce Competitiveness has been awarded $3,058,706 from the U.S. Department of Labor to provide additional education, training and employment opportunities for youth and adults with disabilities. The grant will be used to better connect with those individuals who need assistance and related services that will help them overcome barriers to employment.
