TUESDAY: GOV. MALLOY KICKS OFF OPEN ENROLLMENT UNDER THE AFFORDABLE CARE ACT; ATTENDS OPENING OF CPBN'S LEARNING LAB; SPEAKS AT WOMEN'S EDUCATION AND LEGAL FUND DINNER
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Tuesday afternoon, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will join Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman, Access Health CT CEO Kevin Counihan and a group of consumers for a news conference to kick-off open enrollment of Access Health CT, Connecticut's official health care coverage marketplace under the Affordable Care Act.
In the afternoon, Governor Malloy will participate in the grand opening celebration of the Connecticut Public Broadcasting Network's Learning Lab, a state-of-the-art facility utilizing 20,000 square feet of classroom space that will be a digital learning destination for students, teachers, veterans, and adults.
Later, Governor Malloy will speak at the Connecticut Women's Education and Legal Fund's 40th Anniversary Dinner in Plantsville.
