I privately purchase vaccines in my practice. Do I have to report privately purchased vaccinations administered to CT WiZ?

  • Yes. Providers report all vaccinations administered electronically for all ages, both publicly supplied and privately purchased, to the Immunization Information System (CT WiZ) per state law. Benefits of this include complete and consolidated records in CT WiZ for improved patient care to prevent over or under vaccination. Patients may also access their official immunization record from the CT WiZ Public Portal.
