Governor Lamont Announces Certain COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics Will No Longer Require Appointments Beginning April 27
Governor Ned Lamont today announced that beginning Tuesday, April 27, 2021, more than 50 providers of COVID-19 vaccines in Connecticut will no longer require an appointment prior to providing individuals with vaccinations. Connecticut residents will be able walk-up to the clinic and receive a vaccination on-the-spot.

Governor Ned Lamont and Connecticut Energy and Environmental Protection Commissioner Katie Dykes are applauding the Earth Day announcement made today by President Biden of a new target for the United States to reduce its net greenhouse gas emissions by 50 to 52 percent below 2005 levels in economy-wide net greenhouse gas pollution in 2030.

Governor Lamont Announces Proposal for Using American Rescue Plan Funds To Rebuild Connecticut’s Workforce
Governor Ned Lamont today announced that he is proposing to invest $103 million in funding that Connecticut is receiving from the American Rescue Plan Act to ensure that workers whose employment has been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic have access to industry-aligned training programs that address the immediate hiring demands of employers and provide job seekers with employment opportunities.
