Governor Lamont: Program Investing in Remote Learning for Connecticut Students Is Ahead of Schedule on Device Delivery and Internet Connectivity
Governor Ned Lamont announced today that nearly 25 percent of the 81,000 devices purchased through his administration’s Everybody Learns initiative are scheduled to arrive earlier than anticipated, with some districts seeing deliveries this week.

Governor Lamont Announces Toronto FC Reaches Agreement With State To Play Home Matches at Pratt & Whitney Stadium
Governor Ned Lamont today announced that his administration, working in collaboration with Spectra Venue Management services, has reached an agreement with Major League Soccer’s Toronto FC to play its home games this season at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field in East Hartford.

Governor Lamont Terminates State of Emergency From August 27 Severe Weather
Governor Ned Lamont today delivered a letter to Secretary of the State Denise Merrill notifying her that he has terminated the state of civil preparedness emergency that he declared on August 28, 2020, in response to severe weather that impacted Connecticut on August 27.

Governor Lamont Commemorates 100th Anniversary of New Haven Union Station, Establishes State-City Partnership To Renew the Historic Transportation Hub
Governor Ned Lamont today joined federal, state, and local leaders at a ceremony commemorating the 100th anniversary of the opening of Union Station in New Haven, during which his administration signed a letter of intent with the City of New Haven establishing a new partnership agreement designed to launch “a new era in managing the (two) State of Connecticut-owned rail stations in New Haven.”

Governor Lamont Directs Flags To Half-Staff Friday in Observance of 9/11 Anniversary
