Governor Lamont Announces Connecticut Submits Application To FEMA for Supplemental Disaster Wage Unemployment Benefits
Governor Ned Lamont today announced that the State of Connecticut has submitted its application for federal funding to establish a temporary program that will provide a $300 weekly wage supplement to existing unemployment benefits in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Governor Lamont Terminates State of Emergency From Tropical Storm Isaias
Governor Ned Lamont today delivered a letter to Secretary of the State Denise Merrill notifying her that he has terminated the state of civil preparedness emergency that he declared on August 5, 2020, in response to the damage caused by the impact of Tropical Storm Isaias on the State of Connecticut.

Governor Lamont Announces Connecticut Receives $6.7M Grant for Electric Bus Facility Upgrades in Stamford
Governor Ned Lamont, together with Senator Richard Blumenthal, Senator Chris Murphy, and Congressman Jim Himes, today announced the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) has been awarded a $6.7 million federal grant to modernize the CTtransit bus facility in Stamford by providing accommodations for battery electric buses, which will soon be used on the system.
