Governor Lamont Announces New Programs To Support Those Who Need To Isolate or Self-Quarantine Due To COVID-19 Infection or Exposure
Governor Ned Lamont today announced that his administration has launched a variety of new resources to support those who need to isolate or self-quarantine due to COVID-19. With nonprofit partners such as United Way 2-1-1 and 4-CT, these programs and services are designed to support individuals in need who are asked to isolate or self-quarantine because of a positive COVID-19 test or potential exposure to the virus.

Governor Lamont Submits Request for Presidential Major Disaster Declaration in Response To Tropical Storm Isaias
Following several weeks of data collection across Connecticut and verification by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Governor Ned Lamont today announced that he has submitted a request for a presidential major disaster declaration resulting from the damage caused by Tropical Storm Isaias in early August.

Governor Lamont Calls Legislature Into Session To Consider Several Timely Policy Issues and Judicial Nominations
Governor Ned Lamont today announced that he is calling the Connecticut General Assembly to convene in special session beginning Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. to consider legislation on several timely policy issues, as well as consideration of the four judicial nominations he announced in July.
