SBCH Administrative Claiming reimburses for RMTS participants administrative efforts (as determined by Time Study result) applied to salaries and fringe benefits.  Additional expenses available include capital costs (buildings, fixed assets, and major moveable equipment) and non-personnel costs (i.e. supplies) pertaining to Medicaid Administrative functions.  Medicaid Administrative functions support Medicaid eligibility determination process, Medicaid outreach, or supports SBCH covered services as described in the State Plan Amendment. Administrative claiming is submitted on a quarterly basis.

Beginning July 1, 2027, the SBCH program will reimburse Specialized Transportation in the quarterly administrative claims using submitted statistics, specialized transportation costs, and an annual supplemental report due by September 30 following the end of each fiscal year.  Specialized transportation is defined as transportation in a vehicle that is specially equipped or physically adapted/modified, to accommodate students with specialized medical needs to transport them to school where the student receives Medicaid Covered Services or to receive covered services from a provider outside of school.
