The Federal Government has reopened COVIDtests.gov. Every household can order four over-the-counter COVID-19 tests for free. These tests are intended for use throughout the 2024 holiday season to detect currently circulating COVID-19 variants. Please visit COVIDtests.gov for your free test.

Interstate Medical Licensure Compact

The Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) is a voluntary, expedited pathway to licensure for physicians who wish to practice in multiple states.

For information on the IMLC, FAQs, informational videos, and how to qualify for licensing through this pathway, please visit IMLC's website.

Since October 1, 2022, the Connecticut Department of Public Health has participated in the IMLC.  CT DPH issues licenses through this pathway and is working on an implementation plan to act as a state of principal license (SPL).  One of the final pieces of the implementation plan is to establish a process with the Federal Bureau of Investigation to allow for CT state licensees to obtain fingerprinting.  Please check here periodically for any updates.

Please direct all questions regarding IMLC to inquiry@imlcc.net or (303) 997-9842.
