From Hartford, Enfield, Springfield:
Take I-91 south to exit 22 south (route 9). Take exit 1 for I-95, bearing left to I-95 north. Then take exit 72 (Rocky Neck State park). At the light, take a left onto route 156 and continue one quarter of a mile. Follow route 156 for 1/2 mile. The driveway for York Correctional Institution is on the left.
From Bridgeport and New Haven:
Take I-95 north to exit 72 and then follow directions as stated above.
From Danbury, Newtown and Waterbury:
Take I-84 east to Hartford and then follow directions as stated above.
From Eastern Connecticut:
Take I-395 south to I-95 south. Take exit 72 and then follow directions as stated above.
