INTERSTATE BRANCH ACTIVITY
On December 17, 2025, the Commissioner approved an application by Street Global Advisors Trust Company, an out-of-state trust company, to establish a branch at 400 Atlantic St, Stamford, CT 06901 pursuant to Section 36a-434d of the Connecticut General Statutes. The projected date for the branch opening is during the in the fourth quarter of 2025.
CONSUMER CREDIT DIVISION ACTIVITY
Commonwealth Servicing Group, LLC
On December 11, 16 and 17, 2025, Commonwealth Servicing Group, LLC (“CSG”), Beverly, Massachusetts, Law Offices of Amber Florio, PLLC d/b/a Commonwealth Law Group, Fort Worth, Texas (“CLG”) and the Commissioner, respectively, entered into a Stipulation and Agreement concerning the allegation in the Amended and Restated Temporary Order to Cease and Desist, Order to Make Restitution, Amended and Restated Notice of Intent to Issue Order to Cease and Desist, Amended and Restated Notice of Intent to Impose Civil Penalty and Notice of Right to Hearing issued against CSG, among others, on October 31, 2022 (collectively, “Notice”). In the Notice, the Commissioner alleged that CSG offered to engage or engaged in debt negotiation in this state without obtaining the required license, in violation of Section 36a-671(b) of the Connecticut General Statutes, in effect at such time. The Stipulation and Agreement resolves all matters alleged by the Commissioner against CSG in the Notice, and CSG and CLG agreed to withdraw the pending lawsuit in Superior Court for the Judicial District of Hartford titled Commonwealth Servicing Group, LLC et.al. v. State of Connecticut Department of Banking, HHD-CV22-6168398-S.
