Renew Your Department of Agriculture License Online
All renewal notices are mailed approximately 30–45 days prior to the expiration date of each license, permit, or registration.
The renewal notice includes the User Id required to renew online. You can only renew online if your renewal notice contains online renewal information. If your license is not available to renew online, follow the instructions on your renewal notice.
To renew your Department of Agriculture license, go to the CT eLicense website at www.elicense.ct.gov.
If you have never logged in to your existing account, or have forgotten your password,
Click the “Forgot Password” link

Enter your User ID and click “Next”

Go to your email account to obtain the password reset link.

Your email will be similar to this – click on the reset link

You will then be prompted to reset your password

You will then receive this message – click the “Return to Main Page” link

Enter your User Id and Password

Continue setting up your account.

Click the “Renewal” link at the bottom of the page.

by email at AgLicensing@ct.gov.
Include your Business Name, Complete License Number and Email Address in all correspondence.
We cannot make any changes to your account over the phone.
