(HARTFORD)--The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) held a public meeting today to discuss the findings of the Draft 2024 Connecticut Clean Hydrogen Roadmap. Pursuant to Public Act No. 23-156, and consistent with Connecticut’s greenhouse gas reduction goals as well as DEEP’s Integrated Resource Planning and Comprehensive Energy Strategy that examine the state’s future energy needs and ways to meet those needs, the Draft Roadmap seeks to achieve the following objectives:
Connecticut Water Planning Council Seeks Public Comment on Draft of State Water Plan
The members of the Connecticut Water Planning Council (WPC) today announced that they have published a draft version of the State Water Plan that they have been developing onto the council’s website (www.ct.gov/water) and have opened a public review period to give Connecticut residents, businesses, and other stakeholders an opportunity to provide feedback before it is finalized early next year.

The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) and the Connecticut Department of Agriculture (DOAG) are currently soliciting public feedback until July 19, 2020, on a draft spending plan that details proposed disbursement guidelines for $1.8 million in federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funds for marine fishery participants impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
