  The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) announced that effective immediately, a section of the West Rock Ridge cliff face at West Rock Ridge State Park in New Haven will be closed for purposes of recreation safety and the protection of state-threatened peregrine falcons.

Malloy and Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Commissioner Rob Klee are applauding the Connecticut General Assembly’s Energy and Technology Committee for voting today to approve Senate Bill 9, An Act Concerning Connecticut’s Energy Future. The legislation was introduced by Governor Malloy earlier this session along with a companion environment bill.
