Update Contact Information for a DCP License Permit or Registration

How do you update a DCP license, permit, or registration contact information?

Update Contact Information Online:

  1. Go to elicense.ct.gov.
  2. Log in with your User ID and Password.
  3. Select "Address and General Maintenance" under Online Services to submit your address change.
  4. If you need your User ID and Password, request them by emailing dcp.online@ct.gov.

Update Contact Information by Email:

To report an address change for a DCP license, permit, or registration, email dcp.online@ct.gov with the following information:

  • Your name
  • DCP license, permit, or registration type
  • DCP license, permit, or registration number
  • Your email address
  • The current address of record
  • New address

Name Change for an Individual DCP License, Permit, or Registration

To report a name change for an individual DCP license, permit, or registration, email dcp.online@ct.gov with the following information:

  • Your current name
  • DCP license, permit, or registration type
  • DCP license, permit, or registration number
  • Your email address
  • Your new name
  • A copy of an official court document reflecting the legal name change (e.g., marriage certificate, divorce decree) or a copy of a driver's license showing the new name.
