How do you update a DCP license, permit, or registration contact information?
Update Contact Information Online:
- Go to elicense.ct.gov.
- Log in with your User ID and Password.
- Select "Address and General Maintenance" under Online Services to submit your address change.
- If you need your User ID and Password, request them by emailing dcp.online@ct.gov.
Update Contact Information by Email:
To report an address change for a DCP license, permit, or registration, email dcp.online@ct.gov with the following information:
- Your name
- DCP license, permit, or registration type
- DCP license, permit, or registration number
- Your email address
- The current address of record
- New address
Name Change for an Individual DCP License, Permit, or Registration
To report a name change for an individual DCP license, permit, or registration, email dcp.online@ct.gov with the following information:
- Your current name
- DCP license, permit, or registration type
- DCP license, permit, or registration number
- Your email address
- Your new name
- A copy of an official court document reflecting the legal name change (e.g., marriage certificate, divorce decree) or a copy of a driver's license showing the new name.
