(New London, CT) – Paul J. Narducci, New London State’s Attorney, today announced that a Superior Court jury found Sergio Correa, 30, guilty of multiple charges, including Murder with Special Circumstances, stemming from the December 20, 2017 deaths of Kenneth Lindquist, Janet Lindquist and Matthew Lindquist.
Evidence from the 16-day trial detailed that Correa and his sister, Ruth Correa, traveled from Hartford to Griswold where they brutally murdered the Lindquists, stole numerous items from their home and then set fire to the residence.
Correa now faces a maximum sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole, plus 105 years in prison. He is scheduled for sentencing on March 2, 2022.

We also thank the Connecticut State Police, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the State Division of Scientific Services, the CSP Fire Explosion Investigation Unit and the Glastonbury Police Department. Their assistance was invaluable.”
The case was prosecuted by Supervisory Assistant State’s Attorney Stephen M. Carney, Senior Assistant State’s Attorney Thomas M. DeLillo, Assistant State’s Attorney Marissa N. Goldberg, Supervisory Inspector Merritt D’Amico and former New London State’s Attorney Michael L. Regan, with assistance from the Office of the Chief State's Attorney Appellate Bureau.
