(Waterbury, CT) – The Waterbury Judicial District State’s Attorney’s Office, in collaboration with the City of Waterbury and the Waterbury Police Department, will host the fourth annual HOPE. Be Your Community Resource Fair on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Waterbury City Hall, 235 Grand Street, Waterbury.
This annual event has grown in scope and impact, bringing together a broad network of community organizations, local government agencies, and service providers committed to supporting residents of Waterbury and the surrounding communities.
“We are thrilled to once again sponsor the HOPE. Be Your Community Resource Fair,” Waterbury Judicial District State’s Attorney Maureen T. Platt said. “The Waterbury State’s Attorney’s Office remains dedicated to engaging with the community we serve, and this event exemplifies our commitment to fostering connection, empowerment, and hope.”
Attendees will have access to a wide range of free resources and services, including:
- Health screenings
- Substance abuse and behavioral health support
- Reentry and employment services
- Case management and housing assistance
- Food pantry distribution
- Activities for children
- And much more
“The Waterbury Police Department is proud to partner with the Waterbury State’s Attorney’s Office for this important event,” Waterbury Police Chief Fernando C. Spagnolo said. “The Community Resource Fair offers a one-stop shop of vital services and resources available in our city to assist residents with a variety of needs. It’s also an opportunity to strengthen relationships between our officers and the community we serve.”
Waterbury Mayor Paul Pernerewski, Jr. said the resource fair is an important event for the community.

Paralegal Specialist Ann Taylor, the event’s founder and lead organizer, emphasized the significance of this effort:
