(Stamford, CT) – Paul J. Ferencek, State’s Attorney for the Stamford/Norwalk Judicial District, today announced that a jury in Stamford Superior Court on October 1, 2025 found Ian Evans, age 33, of Bridgeport, guilty of Manslaughter in the First Degree with a Firearm, in violation of Connecticut General Statutes § 53a-55a, Assault in the First Degree, in violation of Connecticut General Statutes § 53a-59(a)(5), and Criminal Use of a Firearm, in violation of Connecticut General Statutes § 53a-216.
