FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

4/14/2025

(New Britain, CT) – Christian M. Watson, State’s Attorney for the Judicial District of New Britain, today announced that a jury in New Britain Superior Court on April 10, 2025 found Michael Niedzwiecki, age 39, of New Britain, guilty of Sexual Assault in the First Degree, in violation of General Statutes § 53a-70(a)(1), and Delivery of Alcohol to a Minor, in violation of General Statutes § 30-86(b)(2).

The trial, in the Superior Court of New Britain, was presided over by the Honorable Chris Pelosi.

This case is being prosecuted by Senior Assistant State’s Attorney Sara Greene with the assistance of Inspector David Rohon.

State’s Attorney Watson and Senior Assistant State’s Attorney Greene wish to extend their gratitude to the Plainville Police Department for their investigative efforts in this case.
