Jury Finds John Narducci Guilty of the 2022 Murder of Christopher Kennedy in Enfield

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

5/20/2026

(Hartford, CT) - Sharmese L. Walcott, Hartford Judicial District State’s Attorney, announced that a jury in Superior Court in Hartford today found John Narducci, age 57, of Enfield, guilty of Murder, in violation of Connecticut General Statutes § 53a-54a.

Evidence at trial showed that on August 10, 2022, officers responding to a 911 call found Christopher Kennedy, age 55, deceased with multiple stab wounds at the Enfield Town Green gazebo. Witnesses reported seeing Narducci in the area the evening of the murder. Surveillance footage showed the defendant riding his bike near the scene throughout the day, and the blade of the knife recovered from him contained the victim's DNA.

The case was prosecuted by Senior Assistant State’s Attorneys Danielle O’Connell and Stacey Cox, with assistance from Inspectors Robert Nesci and Carlos Ocasio and Paralegal Specialist Kelly Randall. The Honorable Joseph B. Schwartz presided over the trial.

State’s Attorney Walcott would like to thank the trial team for their diligent work presenting this case at trial and to the Enfield Police Department for their dedication to the investigation and cooperation throughout the prosecution. She also would like to express condolences to Mr. Kennedy’s family and hopes that this verdict brings them a small amount of solace.

Sentencing is scheduled for September 1, 2026 in Hartford Superior Court.
