(Milford, CT) - Margaret E. Kelley, Ansonia/Milford Judicial District State’s Attorney, today announced that the Honorable Auden C. Grogins on January 6, 2026, sentenced Tyrone Craddock, age 50, of Bridgeport, to 20 years in prison, execution suspended after 14 years served and 15 years of probation.
A jury in Superior Court in Derby on November 18, 2025 found Craddock guilty of Sexual Assault in the First Degree, in violation of Connecticut General Statutes § 53a-70(a)(1). Evidence at trial showed that the defendant, who had previously provided rides to the 16-year-old victim and her friends through a ridesharing app, sexually assaulted the teen at Walnut Beach in Milford on May 24, 2019.
The case was prosecuted by Senior Assistant State’s Attorney Mary SanAngelo and Senior Assistant State’s Attorney Alanna Paul, with the assistance of Inspector Herbert Johnson, Paralegal Specialist Chelsea Meehan and Victim Advocate Ramika Fountain.
