Gordon failed to appear in court to hear the jury render the verdict. The Honorable Peter A. McShane ordered him rearrested and set his bond at $2.5 million.
Evidence presented at trial showed that on January 10, 2022, a home on Naugatuck Avenue in Milford was targeted by armed men who disguised themselves as Amazon delivery personnel. They carried a parcel to make the approach appear legitimate. When the homeowner opened the door to accept the package, the suspects forced entry into the residence. During the invasion, the suspects overpowered the victim, and at one point, a firearm was pointed at the victim’s head and dry fired. The suspects tied the victim with duct tape and ransacked the home, ultimately stealing valuable items including jewelry with a combined value exceeding $50,000.
Gordon and another man, Jahsim Trotman, age 29, were identified as suspects who entered the home. Trotman is currently serving a sentence of 15 years in prison, suspended after 10 years served and five years of probation for the crime. Another accomplice who helped plan the crime, Dominique Jackson, age 29, was sentenced to eight years in prison, suspended after one year served and three years of probation for her role in the robbery.
Gordon’s sentencing is scheduled for August 26, 2026 in Milford Superior Court.
