Minutes of the Meeting of March 20, 2017

Meeting called to order at approximately 12:40 by State’s Attorney Stephen Sedensky.
Also in attendance were State’s Attorney Richard Colangelo (Stamford-Norwalk), Gail Hardy (Hartford), Kevin Lawlor (Ansonia-Milford), Peter A. McShane (Middlesex), Maureen Platt (Waterbury), Brian Preleski (New Britain), Stephen J. Sedensky, III (Danbury), David Shepack (Litchfield), John Smriga (Fairfield), Chief State’s Attorney Kevin Kane, Deputy Chief State’s Attorney Leonard C. Boyle, and John J. Russotto and Supervisory Assistant State’s Attorney Michael Pepper (New Haven) and Mark A. Stabile (Windham).
Also present: Executive Assistant State’s Attorney Brian Austin, Jr. and Communications and Legislative Specialist Mark A. Dupuis.
State’s Attorney Richard Colangelo made a motion to approve the minutes of 2/27/17. The motion was seconded by State’s Attorney Peter McShane and passed unanimously.
New Business: State’s Attorney Brian Preleski discussed the possibility that a member of the State’s Attorney’s Advisory Board, in addition to Chief State’s Attorney Kevin Kane or his representative, should be named to the new Advisory Committee discussing Statute of Limitations issues.
Old Business: None
There being no further business, State’s Attorney David Shepack made a motion to Adjourn at 12:44. The motion was seconded by State’s Attorney Brian Preleski.
