Minutes of the Meeting of July 18, 2016

The meeting was called to order at approximately 12:35 p.m. by State’s Attorney Stephen J. Sedensky, III (Danbury), Vice President of the Board.
Also in attendance were State’s Attorney Richard Colangelo (Stamford-Norwalk), Matthew Gedansky (Tolland), Patrick J. Griffin (New Haven), Gail Hardy (Hartford), Kevin Lawlor (Ansonia-Milford), Maureen Platt (Waterbury), Brian Preleski (New Britain), David Shepack (Litchfield), John Smriga (Fairfield), Chief State’s Attorney Kevin Kane, Deputy Chief State’s Attorneys Leonard Boyle and John J. Russotto; Senior Assistsant State’s Attorney Anne Mahoney attended for Windham.
Also present: Executive Assistant State’s Attorney Brian Austin, Jr., Executive Assisant State’s Attorney Michael Gailor, legislative liaison Wilfred Blanchette and Communications and Legislative Specialist Mark A. Dupuis.
State’s Attorney Maureen Platt made a motion to approve the minutes of June 20, 2016. The motion was seconded by State’s Attorney Richard Colangelo.
New Business: Chief State’s Attorney Kevin Kane extended a welcome to New Haven State’s Atorney Patrick J. Griffin; and Senior Assistant State’s Attorney Anne Mahoney, who will be sworn in as Windham State’s Attorney on August 1, 2016.
There was no old business.
There being no further business, State’s Attorney Gail Hardy made a motion to adjourn at 12:36 p.m. The motion was seconded by State’s Attorney Kevin Lawlor.
