The Division of Criminal Justice is seeking candidates for temporary, part-time or durational full-time Special Deputy Assistant State’s Attorney positions in Geographical Area court locations throughout Connecticut. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis for consideration as needs arise.
Candidates who wish to be considered for this type of assignment should indicate the Geographical Area(s) within which they would be willing to work.
Candidates must be admitted to the Connecticut Bar and in good standing. Familiarity with Geographical Area court procedure is preferred but not required. A Division of Criminal Justice application form (link below) must be completed by all applicants and submitted along with a current resume, copy of your law school transcript and a writing sample. These documents should be sent via email (preferred) to DCJ.HR@ct.gov. Please include SDASA application in the subject line.
