Macy, Ph.D. recently received the Lifetime Hero Award from the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (AAIDD) at their 74th Annual Northeast Region X conference in Mystic, Connecticut. In addition to Commissioner Macy receiving the Lifetime Hero Award, DDS Self Advocate Varian S. Salters of the North Region was presented the Everyday Hero Award.
