Community of Practice Employment Steering Committee – Invitation to participate in a survey about competitive employment for individuals with intellectual disabilities

The “Community of Practice Employment Steering Committee” is conducting a very important survey to collect information concerning employment needs, goals, barriers, and facilitators for individuals with intellectual disabilities who reside in the State of Connecticut. The committee is comprised of individuals representing various stakeholder groups who support competitive employment for individuals with disabilities, and seeks to collect information from a wide array of stakeholders such as: individuals with disabilities, family members, employers , parents, teachers, advocates, community members, and public /private agency professionals. The information we collect will be used to guide the Employment Steering Committee’s initiatives, goals, and objectives  toward improving competitive employment outcomes for individuals with intellectual disabilities in the State of Connecticut.

The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Thank you in advance for your participation as we strive to make employment a priority for all if the individuals we advocate for and with!
