Beginning Wednesday, March 12, 2014, the University of Connecticut Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities will present a six session “Parent Leadership and Advocacy Training.” The sessions will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on March 12, April 9, May 14, June 11, July 9, and August 13 at the UCEDD located at 270 Farmington Avenue (The Exchange) in Farmington, Connecticut.

The training will help parents learn how to advocate for their children’s needs as well as to improve the quality of life for other children and families in Connecticut.
