The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is looking for DDS consumers and self advocates to be part of a stakeholder work group to review and revise the department’s mission statement and vision. The work group will hold an all day meeting in Manchester, Connecticut on January 18, 2012. 

If you are interested, please e-mail Michelle Bacry at michelle.bacry@ct.gov or you can call her at 860-418-6010 by January 6, 2012. Please note that not everyone will be selected because other people are being asked to participate as well. Once you have let the DDS know that you are interested, you will only hear if you have been chosen to participate in the work group. If you do not hear back from DDS it means you were not chosen. The agency is going to have other opportunities in the future to be a part of other stakeholder groups.
