Public Hearings & Public Comments – Justice Involved 1115 Demonstration Waiver Amendment
The Department of Social Services (DSS), in collaboration with the Department of Correction, the Judicial Branch, the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, the Office of Policy Management, the Department of Developmental Services and the Department of Children and Families, proposes an amendment for the Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Demonstration Waiver under Section 1115 of the Social Security Act to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for Medicaid Coverage for Justice-Involved Population Re-entry (Re-entry Initiative) described below.
