Online ‘change’ reporting is here!
DSS clients are now able to report changes and upload supporting verifications/documents through their MyAccount (online client benefits account)! This is especially helpful for clients in reporting income changes, household member changes, and other eligibility-related information and documentation.
Online replacement of EBT cards
SNAP and cash assistance recipients can now use 2-1-1's online EBT Card Replacement Service. EBT cardholders can also check the status of their card replacement request. Helping Clients Set Up Benefit Accounts (‘MyAccount’ feature)
Like banks and businesses, DSS offers 24/7 access to benefit and document information for clients who open ‘MyAccount’ online accounts and/or phone (interactive voice-response, or IVR) accounts. In fact, many clients self-serve in this way without needing to contact a DSS worker. The below links will take to you consumer resources on how to open online and phone accounts.
We appreciate your help in encouraging our mutual clients to open benefit accounts with DSS! More than 100,000 of our clients have already taken the step to open MyAccounts.
It’s easy to open MyAccount – clients can visit www.connect.ct.gov and click on the MyAccount (Access Now) icon.
