Equivalent Education

 
Applicants who have not earned a master's or doctorate degree in speech and language pathology or audiology must have completed an integrated educational program which, at the time of the applicant's completion, satisfied the ASHA educational requirements for the award of a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and shall arrange for the submission of the following:
 

Transcripts verifying all post-secondary study completed sent directly to this office from each institution where studies were undertaken;

 

A statement directly from the educational program director(s) to this office on institution letterhead, verifying the number of hours of clinical clock experience completed at both undergraduate and graduate levels.   Separate statements are required from each institution where the applicant completed clock hours.

 

Upon receipt, the information will be reviewed and the applicant will be notified in writing regarding eligibility for Connecticut licensure.
