November 28th Homeowners Mortgage Assistance Event
at the Conference Center at CoCo Key, Waterbury

Editors: Please add to your Daybooks, Community Calendars and Community Briefs this free event for homeowners in need of mortgage assistance. We are hoping to publicize this event widely and as soon as possible to get the word out to homeowners who may need the help.
A free, mortgage-assistance event for homeowners who need information or help with loan modifications, foreclosure prevention, state and federal assistance programs and other lending-related issues will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Conference Center at CoCo Key, 3580 East Main Street, Waterbury, Connecticut. Free parking is available.
Representatives from various mortgage lenders and loan servicing companies will be available to discuss your case personally.  Among them are: Bank of America; CitiMortgage; Fannie Mae; First Niagara Bank; Freedom Mortgage, GMAC Mortgage; HSBC National Bank USA; JPMorgan Chase & Co.; McCue Mortgage; Ocwen Loan Servicing; OneWest Bank/Indymac Mortgage Services; PNC Mortgage; People’s United Bank; Webster Bank and Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.  HUD-approved housing counseling agencies, the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority, Judicial Branch Mediation and other state and non-profit agencies will provide additional assistance to homeowners.
A full list of participating banks and agencies is available on the following website, www.ct.gov/dob/homeowner, which also lists the documents a homeowner needs to bring for assistance and directions to the event.  Be sure to check the website periodically, as information on how to pre-register with your lender will be updated as the event draws closer.
