In accordance with Governor Lamont's emergency declaration, employees and the public are asked to observe social distancing measures to ensure communal safety and to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). People are asked to work from home and telecommute wherever possible. Adhering to these instructions, the Department of Banking has closed its offices to the public. CONSUMER CREDIT DIVISION ACTIVITY
Order Revoking Consumer Collection Agency License and Order to Cease and Desist
On July 29, 2015, the Commissioner issued an Order Revoking Consumer Collection Agency License and Order to Cease and Desist (“Order”) in the Matter of:  NCC Business Services of Ohio, Inc. (“Respondent”), North Olmstead, Ohio.  The Order was based on Respondent’s failure to maintain a surety bond that runs concurrently with the period of its consumer collection agency license, in violation of Section 36a 802(a) of the Connecticut General Statutes.  The Order revokes Respondent’s license to act as a consumer collection agency in Connecticut from 25175 Country Club Boulevard, North Olmstead, Ohio, and orders Respondent to cease and desist from violating Section 36a-802(a) of the Connecticut General Statutes.
